filyy helps you build personalized packing lists for your trips. We designed the app to collect as little as possible: you do not create an account, and we do not ask for your email, phone number, or password. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Onboarding answers: a first name (optional), and preferences such as gender, travel frequency, trip style, climate, and packing style. These personalize your lists.
- Trip details: destination name, dates, number of travelers, luggage type, and accommodation/weather preferences.
- Your lists: items, quantities, and what you check off.
Information collected automatically
- Anonymous identifier: we use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to issue a random, anonymous user ID so the backend can serve your requests and apply fair-use limits. It is not tied to your real identity.
- Diagnostics: basic crash and performance data to keep the app stable.
- Purchase status: whether you hold an active subscription (via RevenueCat + Apple). We do not receive or store your card details.
We do not collect your contacts, photos, or precise GPS location. Destinations are the place names you type.
3. How we use your information
- Generate and personalize your AI packing lists.
- Fetch weather (real forecast for near dates, seasonal averages for far dates) for your destination.
