1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the TalkText mobile application ("App"), you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms or the Privacy Policy, you must not download, install, or use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TalkText ("we," "us," or "our"). We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

2. Description of Service

TalkText is a mobile application designed to provide text-to-speech conversion and related services, including but not limited to:

• Text-to-Speech Conversion: Converting written text input by the User into spoken audio.
• Document Text Extraction: Extracting text from supported document formats, including PDF, TXT, and DOCX files.
• Image Text Extraction: Scanning and extracting text from images or documents using your device’s camera or photo library.
• Multilingual Support: Offering text-to-speech conversion in multiple languages with various voice options.
• Audio Playback and Export: Allowing playback of generated audio and exporting audio files in supported formats.
• Accessibility Features: Supporting users with visual or reading impairments through speech output and other accessibility-focused functionalities.

We may add, modify, or remove features at our discretion to improve the App or comply with legal, technical, or operational requirements.

3. Eligibility and Account Requirements

• Age Requirements: You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. Users under 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) must have parental or guardian consent to use the App.
• Account Creation (if applicable): Some features may require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as needed. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
• Geographic Availability: The App is intended for global use but may not be available or fully functional in certain countries due to local laws, regulations, or technical restrictions. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
